COVID-19 Protocols

As we prepare for Pilgrimage 2022, we remain in an active pandemic. COVID-19 rates in Edgecombe County and Nash County, our event location, are now at high levels of community transmission. Wherein the current dominant variant is far less debilitating to most people’s health, it is far more transmissible. For this reason, we want you to know the steps we encourage to help people remain COVID-19 free.

1. We strongly urge everyone to take a rapid COVID-19 test before journeying to Pilgrimage 2022. If you test positive, please do not come to Pilgrimage. Follow the CDC quarantine guidelines found here: COVID Quarantine and Isolation Guidelines.
2. If you are sick or feeling ill before Pilgrimage 2022, please do not come to Pilgrimage. Seek medical help through your primary medical provider.
3. We strongly urge everyone to wear masks while participating at Pilgrimage.
4. We encourage thorough hand-washing multiple times throughout the day.
5. If you discover that you have been exposed to someone who is COVID-19 positive immediately before or during Pilgrimage 2022, we ask that you follow the CDC guidelines listed here: Quarantine and Isolation Guidelines. Also, we ask that you return to your home.
